The Demecto 10 dehumidifier is particularly suitable for use in living areas. Despite a dehumidification capacity of up to 10 litres per day, the device works very quietly and can therefore also be used in inhabited rooms without any problems.
To achieve optimal dehumidification, the Comedes dehumidifier should be operated in rooms of no more than 20m². Depending on the room size and humidity, dehumidification can be carried out either via the water tank or via a drainage hose.
The device is equipped with all necessary functions, which allow a simple but nevertheless precise operation. In addition to an automatic mode, a timer and 2 fan speeds are also part of the equipment of the dehumidifier.
When handling the device, care was taken to ensure that it can be operated easily and yet precisely. For example, the tank is very easy to remove from the device and transport is also very simple with the included castors.
Use of the Demecto 10 in living rooms and bedrooms
Excessive room humidity in living areas can have a wide variety of causes, although very few of them are construction-related. For example, incorrect/missing ventilation, air drying of laundry or inadequate air circulation can lead to increased room humidity. The consequences of permanently increased air humidity can be as numerous as its causes. The most common consequences include mould growth, mildew stains, musty smells or condensation. The Comedes Demecto 10 is able to counteract these effects. The room dryer can be adjusted to the respective situation by means of various setting options. In intelligent automatic mode, the drying unit even makes these settings automatically.
Use of the Demecto 10 for mould
Mould in the living room or cellar is not only unattractive to look at, but also poses health risks. Especially with excessive humidity and a lack of air circulation or air exchange, mould finds optimal growth conditions. The use of a room dehumidifier can combat these conditions and thus the development or growth of mould.
An absolute highlight in combating the causes of mould is the intelligent automatic mode. If the device is operated in this mode, the device independently (depending on the room temperature) controls the optimum room humidity.
