The Comedes BTR 50 is a robust dehumidifier/building dryer which is ideally suited for larger dehumidification tasks. Its main application is in building drying, water damage restoration and keeping large rooms dry. So that the dehumidifier can be used flexibly in a wide variety of room dehumidification scenarios, it has various setting options and functions. These include continuous and automatic operation, a timer function, automatic defrosting, overflow protection and a hose connection. In addition, the dryer is designed for use in "rough" environments, such as construction sites or in renovation environments. This has been implemented by a resistant metal housing, a break-proof water tank as well as an easy-to-clean dust filter.
For easy and safe transport, the construction dryer has two large wheels, a padded metal handle for pushing the dehumidifier and two recessed grips for carrying the unit.
Use of the BTR 50 in basements
A typical area of use for a dehumidifier is in cellars. Here, the Comedes dehumidifier covers a wide range of possible dehumidification scenarios.
If the liquid water has been removed after water damage, caused for example by a burst pipe or flooding, the next step is cellar dehumidification or cellar renovation. If this is not done or not done sufficiently, problems such as damp walls, musty smell or mould in the cellar can persist or even worsen. In addition to the consequences of water damage, incorrect/missing ventilation and rising damp can also cause the above-mentioned problems.
The Comedes BTR 50 is used in many areas of water damage restoration, cellar restoration and cellar drying.
Use of the BTR 50 in building drying
Thanks to its dehumidification capacity of max. 51 litres/day, the Comedes BTR 50 is also used as a building dryer. The dehumidifier is characterised by its robust design, simple handling and easily accessible hose connection. In the field of construction drying, the BTR 50 optimally complements the portfolio of special devices such as side channel compressors, water separators and fans. In addition, thanks to the large transport wheels, the device can be easily transported from room to room or from construction site to construction site.
