Note on the disposal of used batteries

The following notice applies to end users who use batteries or products with built-in batteries:

Taking back used batteries free of charge

Batteries must not be disposed of with household waste. You are legally required to return used batteries
in order to ensure proper disposal. You can store used batteries on a
municipal collection point or in the trade on site. We are also a distributor of batteries for the
take-back of spent batteries, whereby our take-back obligation applies to spent batteries of the type
which we carry or have carried as new batteries in our own range. used batteries
of the aforementioned type, you can either return them to us with sufficient postage or send them directly to
to our dispatch warehouse at the following address free of charge:

Meaning of the battery symbols

Batteries are marked with the symbol of a crossed-out dustbin. This symbol indicates this,
that batteries must not be disposed of with household waste. For batteries with more than 0,0005 mass percentage
mercury containing more than 0,002 % by mass of cadmium or more than 0,004 % by mass of lead, or
under the garbage can symbol the chemical designation of the pollutant used in each case - thereby
"Cd" stands for cadmium, "Pb" for lead, and "Hg" for mercury.
