The Lavaero 1200 air purifier from Comedes is designed for effective air purification in large rooms. Thanks to the high air circulation of up to 600m³/h, even rooms of up to 70m² can be freed from a wide variety of air pollutants. For the air purification itself, the air purifier is equipped with a pre-filter, a HEPA element, an activated carbon filter and an ionizer. Due to the 5 freely selectable fan levels, the purifier can be optimally adjusted to the cleaning task at hand as well as the room size. The automatic mode, the remote control and the filter change indicator ensure comfortable use. The automatic mode is optimised for use in living rooms and bedrooms. In addition to the particle sensor (PM2.5), the unit also has a light sensor. The light sensor monitors the brightness in the room. When you go to sleep and switch off the light, the Lavaero 1200 automatically switches to sleep mode.

The filter system of the Lavaero 1200
With its 4-stage filter system, the Lavaero 1200 is capable of reducing the concentration of various indoor air pollutants in rooms up to 70m2 in size.
The individual filter media cover a broad cleaning spectrum. These include dust, bird dust, fine dust (PM2.5, PM10), house dust, pollen, mould spores, cigarette smoke, various residential toxins, allergens and allergenic particles in the room air.
Depending on their size, the pre-filter, the HEPA element and the activated carbon filter are responsible for filtering solid components (particles). Odours and various compounds are combated by the granulated activated carbon. The air purification is rounded off by the ionizer. The ionizer supports the clustering of the smallest particles (cluster formation) and ensures that these can be absorbed more easily by the HEPA filter.

Use of the air purifier for allergies and cigarette smoke
Special areas of application for the air purifier are in allergen filtering or the filtering of allergen-laden particles and in combating cigarette smoke. Pollen, mould spores, house dust or even parts of animal hair belong to the most common allergens or allergen carriers in the room air. The Lavaero 1200 air purifier is able to effectively reduce the number of these allergens.
The filtering of cigarette smoke is also possible with the Comedes device. In this case, solid substances of the cigarette smoke can be reduced in the room air by means of the HEPA filter and the activated carbon filter. The activated carbon filter is used to reduce the gaseous components of the smoke.
